Student Email FAQ

Hello Naropa Students,
We here at Naropa IT hope you all had a wonderful semester. I know you are busy so I will be as brief as possible.
 
Over the summer, IT will be updating our internal technology to serve you better and provide more robust features. We will be migrating all student email from Google email to Microsoft 365 email, which means you and your professors will then share the same email platform. We are currently in the planning phase of this deployment, and will be sending updates to your student emails as we begin to undertake this work.
 
As a part of our upgrade, we will be updating student logins to the format FirstName.LastName@naropa.edu for email, MyNaropa, and wireless logins, as well as logging into Naropa computers in labs and libraries. This means you will no longer have different logins for Naropa systems, something we have heard as a student frustration with our systems.
 
Please be sure to look for notes from IT this summer regarding your email access. Additionally, if you would like to proactively manage your Google account, instructions on how to save a copy of your archive are attached, and we have supplemental details below. If you are a graduating student, we strongly recommend you follow the instructions to keep a personal copy of your data.
