In an effort to better serve the Naropa organization and its members, IT has migrated our email list-serves to a new provider, known as ReGroup.
ReGroup Moderation Policy:
All email distribution from @naropa.edu email addresses must be related to Naropa University and serve a business purpose. This includes messages related to business functions and University sponsored events. If there are non-Naropa events that you think will be of interest to our community, please contact the Naropa Newsletter team.
Primary email lists, specifically core faculty, adjunct faculty, and staff, are used as a means to broadcast University related issues to the entire community. These lists function as announcement boards, not as forums for discussion. In respect to this, the “reply all” functionality has been disabled within these mailing lists. The ability to reply to the creator / sender of the message is still an option, however, replies will not be seen by the entire group. Due to the nature of these announcement lists, content is moderated. All messages, including those from supervisors, require the approval of a moderator. Moderators of these lists are noted below. Moderators ensure that the message meets the business purpose of the lists, but they do not edit messages for content. It is the responsibility of composer of the message to ensure accuracy in spelling, dates, times, et al. It is also the responsibility of the creator of a message to ensure that it is submitted for moderation in adequate advance of when a message is desired to be released to the community.
