Email Forwarding Policy

Starting July 1st, 2015, Naropa’s IT department began enforcing our email policy regarding forwarding or redirecting email from naropa.edu addresses. As stated in our university email policy  “Users are not allowed to redirect or otherwise automatically forward (via email rule, or other function) their Naropa.edu email to any non-Naropa email address.”
 
On July 1st, any email redirection and/or forwarding rules that send email to non-Naropa email addresses will be automatically, and permanently, disabled. While we understand this can be an inconvenience, Naropa’s wider operational and legal concerns require the closure of this security loophole. We are aware that this ability was previously available; however, our policy has always disallowed it. If you require assistance accessing your Naropa email account (via Outlook, Outlook Web Access, or on a mobile device), IT is happy to assist.
